Well, that takes care of Shaky and Quiver. It just leaves Edison, but I imagine that she is long gone.

Did Shaky rat his cuz out ?  How else would they know about her little game ?  Tracy is being awfully kind to a guy who shot his main and only squeeze.

Forgot to say it at the time but the crane shot in Sunday’s panel 2 is a nice rendering of a piece of heavy equipment, without going into exhaustive detail.

Assault? He nearly killed Tess! How about attempted murder, you idiot!

Did Quiver hang around to watch the show?

It was fun watching the antics of this pair of idiots, but I’ll be glad when Dick get’s back to some smarter villains who really use some brains in their scheming. Edison could perhaps be one such.

With his wife having been shot by Shaky, shouldn’t Tracy have been pulled from the case—U can see Wendy Wichell making a good case for this.

Tracy originally was arresting Shaky for extortion when he confronted Shaky at the Tracy Agency. If Tracy ever learns about Shaky’s deal with Mr Jewel I wonder if that “activity” could be added to the charges against Shaky.

As for Sam, if quiver is on parole, as implied, consorting with a felon/fugitive (I can’t believe shakey hasn’t gone inside before) that violates parole.

I guess bullies arent so “bully-ish” when theyre confronted but the fact that Quiver just sat in her car watching this whole debacle unfold is just a bit more than totally unbelievable.

Ah yes. Just as I had suspected. Looks like the end of this shaky story.

In the old days this story would have stretched out for perhaps months, with complicated side stories, more peril and a lot more excitement. Please, you creative guys, do better! (Been reading the Complete Dick Tracy these last several months—from 1931-1974).

How did they find out about the fraud?

I know she said she was going to surrender, but Quiver should have taken off.

I expect Edison to go back to her apartment, grab her stuff, and become the girlfriend of the next bad guy, too.

I just thought of this: Leave it to Shaky to try to shake someone down.

Coloring error: Tracy’s pants aren’t supposed to be yellow. (Although, Gould gave him a light-colored honeymoon suit, which Harvey Comics colored yellow, way back in the day.)

Awww… he gave up. Was definitely waiting for the art, with a sniper taking him out on the I-beam.

Well, this dog appears over. Problem is, I smell a crossover, or worse..another “Minit” Mystery that lasts 2 weeks. Stay tuned Archie fans.

Good thing Shaky’s dropped gun didn’t go off. Even so, an added charge of attempted murder could be justified (the shot that narrowly missed Sam the other day)….
