Gotta say, probably right, but Trump’s such a banal Anti-Christ. You would of thought AC would have a little more class, dignity and competence. But whatever gets the job done, right?

Scott, if only you were this “never-Trump” when it really mattered…

    2016, the election

    2019, the impeachment

You had your chance for a different outcome.

    And you didn’t take it.

Jared is now in charge, right?

Except that Pence was put in charge.

And the surgeon general sets medical policy.

But Dr. Fauci is addressing the country about covid19.

    And Dr. Brix.

Until they are contradicted later during the campaign rally — where we also learn that the tests inherited from Obama were broken and didn’t work on covid-19.

And we learn from Jared that federal stockpiles of medical resources are only for “us” and not to be sent to states.

    .

And all the Trump Disciples STILL believe Their Messiah is doing a great job.

The Trump Disciple analysis skills continue to be awesome.

“The notion of the federal stockpile was it’s supposed to be our stockpile,” Kushner said at a White House news briefing Thursday. “It’s not supposed to be the states’ stockpiles that they then use.”

I just wonder how many times, through the course of human history, were people convinced that the Apocalypse was upon them.

Well, yesterday I explained to some Trumpers that “Yes, Pelosi was doing her job by allocating money to the Kennedy Center”, since it is a Washington DC, Federally owned institution. (Congress runs DC, no one else does….)

And Trump praised the move while the GOP’er run Senate also had a similar allocation in their bill. (And the GOP’ers lied about it somehow, being for Pelosi’s benefit….)

    ~

And Yes, Pelosi is doing her job by setting up the bipartisan panel oversight on the coronavirus response.

    ~

So during this time of unparalleled economic and medical emergency, what does the GOP run Senate feel is the most important crisis facing the Nation?

    ~

A key Senate committee is vowing to press forward with its investigation targeting former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter, despite logistical challenges posed by the global coronavirus pandemic.

    ~

Because clearly, Socializing the Tax-payers’ money for an opposition research / in-kind contribution to the Trump campaign is the greatest priority this nation faces today….

(Yeah, Sure…. Why not undermine the National Guard during an ‘Apocalypse’?)

    ~

Thousands of National Guardsmen around the country are in contact with people who’ve contracted COVID-19. But while the federal government has called on them for frontline assistance in battling the pandemic, it’s not giving them what they need to protect themselves: access to the military’s health insurance.

The approximately 20,000 guardsmen who have been called up to help states around the country deal with the spread of the coronavirus are federalized on what’s called Title 32 status, which puts them in command of their various state governors but with the federal government paying costs.

But according to the National Guard’s advocates and the U.S. governors’ association, the guardsmen are activated on orders that last 30 days.

That puts them one single day shy of the requirement allowing the military health insurance system known as TRICARE—think of it as Medicare For All In Uniform—to cover them. Military Times first reported the eligibility shortfall.

And while they’re at it… Why not take medical insurance away during a medical and unemployment ’Apocalypse’?

    ~

The worsening coronavirus outbreak may be stretching the limits of the U.S. health care system and overwhelming state governments, but that isn’t deterring a group of 18 state attorneys general from plowing ahead with a lawsuit that could overturn the Affordable Care Act within a year—a move that could disrupt the health care system at a time of deep crisis.

This fall, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is slated to argue in the U.S. Supreme Court on behalf of 17 Republican attorneys general—and against 21 Democratic attorneys general—that Obamacare is unconstitutional and must be struck down immediately.

Representatives for five of those attorneys general—from the states of Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee—confirmed to The Daily Beast that the coronavirus outbreak has not changed their plans to try and kill the health care law as parties to the case of Texas v. California.

Their steadfastness comes even as their states are beginning to feel the acute impact of the coronavirus’ spread.

Georgia currently has over 1,700 coronavirus cases, while Tennessee has nearly 1,000 and the others have anywhere from 350 to 600.

The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in Revelation chapter 6, verses 1-8. The four horsemen are symbolic descriptions of different events which will take place in the end times. The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2: “I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.” This first horseman likely refers to the Antichrist, who will be given authority and will conquer all who oppose him. The antichrist is the false imitator of the true Christ, who will also return on a white horse.(Cont.)

The second horseman of the Apocalypse appears in Revelation 6:4, “Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.” The second horseman refers to terrible warfare that will break out in the end times. The third horseman is described in Revelation 6:5-6, “…and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!’” The third horseman of the Apocalypse refers to a great famine that will take place, likely as a result of the wars from the second horseman.(Cont.)

The fourth horseman is mentioned in Revelation 6:8, “I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.” The fourth horseman of the Apocalypse is symbolic of death and devastation. It seems to be a combination of the previous horsemen. The fourth horseman of the Apocalypse will bring further warfare and terrible famines along with awful plagues and diseases. What is most amazing, or perhaps terrifying, is that the four horsemen of the Apocalypse are just “precursors” of even worse judgements that come later in the tribulation.

You are not allowed to be competent or think independently in this administration. When they find such people they fire them. I give you Capt. Crozier of the USS Theodore Roosevelt as the perfect example.

@braindead: “The notion of the federal stockpile was it’s supposed to be our stockpile,” Kushner said at a White House news briefing Thursday. “It’s not supposed to be the states’ stockpiles that they then use.”

Wasn’t it just a day or two ago that I read that there was a struggle between those who wanted the equipment to go to those areas (e.g., NYC) with the greatest immediate need vs. those poor areas with inadequate hospital facilities which might be expected to need them in the (near?) future? Trump was reportedly in favor of the latter distribution, which “coincidentally” tends to correlate with those areas which voted for him in 2016.

Is that what Jared means by “our”?

I wonder what they’ll do if/when putting more test kits into those areas shows a rapidly increasing rate of infections and deaths, something I expect from deliberate flouting of the rules intended to prevent the spread. Will they try to suppress the real figures? Will they be able to?

And how many of those dead will be voting in November?

Odd, weeks ago when I made a comment that this may the start of the end times and the four horseman, i recieved nothing but insults, i guess fear has changed things a little. Fear not, the current president can not be the Anti-Christ, the true Anti-Christ will be loved worldwide and seen as a hero, no one fits that bill just yet.

“Our”? Who the hell does he think makes up the states? HE works for ME as doe his father-in-law, albeit in temp jobs from which both shall soon be fired. But there is no separation between the federal government and the states, we are UNITED. Even if Jared doesn’t know that.
