Diamond Lil does quite well with a standard fly-swatter. See today’s comic.

If it’s guaranteed on the first attempt why does it swat more than once?

Monty needs a Bug-A-Salt gun.

But oh, the collateral damage.

It’s that two cycle gas that kills it for me. It goes bad while the swatter’s sitting on the sideboard.

I need one of that ASAP.

I’ve done that same thing before… only manually.

I use my sock. 95% success rate.

That was funny!

So glad they didn’t have those when I was a kid. Bad enough getting swatted with a single fly-swatter for misbehaving!

As we all see, this is an emblem of the corona fight.

When I was a little kid a had a pet gecko. Lizards (or at least geckos) will eat only if the dinner is moving. I learned to swat flies just hard enough to stun them. I would pick them up and throw them into the cage. When the flies awakened the lizard latched onto his lunch. Unfortunately, some 60 years later, when I swat a fly I still only stun them. Sigh.

Hmm. Fortunately, E.B. is still standing. Nearly everything else has been destroyed. I’d return that Swatech Turbo 3700 to Acme and demand a refund, Monty. You, however, probably think this was a huge success….
