She says, "I've counted forty-eight suns so far, Charlie Brown.."<br> <br> He replies, "That's a coincidence...there are also forty-eight states in the union" She exclaims, "Really? Say! I'll bet there's some connection!"<br> <br> She continues, "SURE THERE IS! This is more than just a coincidence..." He covers his eyes and exclaims, "Oh, no!"<br> <br> She runs around shouting, "I'VE DISCOVERED A SCIENTIFIC TRUTH!" He leans his head against a tree and sighs.<br> <br>

Actually, Alaska didn’t become a state until January 3rd of 1959 while Hawaii became one on August 21, 1959. In conclusion, Schulz was right.
