I don’t think you can love a dog too much. At least not mine. They’re love sponges.

Dogs have a way of telling you that you’re squeezing them too hard, and you won’t like it.

If you love him, you may want him to breathe a little and not hug him so hard!

I will hug him & squeeze him & call him George.

I just got back in from walking the doggies and love is getting up before the sun to take them for a morning walk when the community is all inside. What has been a good side effect of this is all the smiles and waves I get, from an appropriate distance, when we do go for our walks. And their cuddles when I take a nap later in the day. They, and the cats, are handling my increased at home hours better than I am.

It is interesting what small children can get away with when caring pets. The animals seem to sense their innocence, and rarely react in an overly aggressive manner. I have seen children carrying cats like a wet sock; whereas if an adult did the same he would get ripped to shreds.

Pets actually die from over-squeeze every year. Not particularly funny.

Dogs do not Iike to be hugged like that.

Too much until she stops.
