When I had to stand watch (okay, sit) in the Navy in a quiet, remote area I kept a cup of coffee in my hand, resting in my lap. Spilling coffee wouldn’t get you to Captain’s Mast; falling asleep at your post would.
Stakeout conundrum. Biggest 7-11 takeout coffee you can get, sensitive bladder. I went through 5 different cars on one, so managed to get quick breaks in.
