So now these modern-day youngsters finally figured out that the old ways are the best.

Sounds like something I would have said to my son

Come and get yer grub, bub. Followed by saying grace; “Much obliged!”

And, if they’re having chicken, yes, that’s right, “Are you in a fowl mood?” ☺

I loved being an adult and messing with my kids. If I had known how much phun it would be, I’d have started sooner.
