As a pragmatist, I’d say an important first step is removing someone who actively works against those groups (or at least enables others to work against them). If we get caught up in trying to find a perfect candidate who meets our hopes, dreams and aspirations then we will probably end up with Trump as president for four more years.

The only thing that matters right now is to remove the psychopath that’s in office today. If Trump is elected for four more years, or more, any hope that basic human rights will continue to evolve for all people is dead.

You can only have one person at a time as president; that person can only be male or female (basically!), of some limited number of races in ancestry, follow one (basically) religion, and have one sexual orientation. What matters is what they can do for all of us. If you insist on an Inuit transexual Buddhist, well, we’ll have Trump again.

Reach for anyone that promises to help you with your problems or someone that promises to stay out of your way and to leave you alone. The Federal Government is not Family or a Friend never has been never will be.

If THIS cartoon does not say it all as to what’s wrong with the current election debacle, don’t really know what would be?

I would point out to the young lady in the last panel that the young man beside her in the first NEVER said that either candidate “WAS”, just that he needed to “SPEAK TO” the conditions that were outlined.

And, bottom line, young ladies and gentleman, EITHER CHOICE would do far better that what is currently residing in the White House.

This assumes that people have no concerns beyond their own groups. Millions of people throughout history have rejected this.

President Obama was not an old white guy. Mayor Pete is gay. So quit bitching, put down the phone and do something.

You work with who you’ve got. The vice-presidental choice will matter greatly.

This fracturing of citizens into sub-groups defeats the purpose of “One nation indivisible”…it should be equality for ALL.

First step: VOTE OUT ALL THE REPUBLICANS.

I’m disappointed in Elizabeth Warren’s withdrawal – by far the best candidate from day one, in my view – but at least she’s still in the Senate, and, God and the voters willing, will be the next Senate Majority Leader!

We HAD those candidates, but nobody supported them. They had terrible poll numbers and couldn’t raise the kind of money it takes to run for President. I’m not impressed with our choices but they seem to be the Moderate and Progressive that the majority of us want. At this point, the question is “What is the Democratic Party?”

Unfortunately Black, White, Hispanic, Oriental, LBGTQ ROBOTS don’t come in a kit from JAPAN. The trick is to find and support a candidate who truly cares about all people. Does this sound like THE ORANGE SWAMP TOAD currently soiling the White house? If not, people of both political parties need to get behind a change.

This is really quite unfair. Neither Bernie nor Biden had a privileged upbringing. Now Trump, on the other hand…

I don’t understand black people. Biden and Clinton passed a crime bill the sent untold thousands of young blacks and Latinos to prisons for profit and Bernie opposed it. So they backed Joe. Remarkable. Whether Joe or Donald, it’s goodbye SS, medicare and medicaid and hello more bankrupting wars against those who are no threat to us. Gawd, Americans are so stupid, they don’t know they are stupid.

I get the point here, but I think it’s only fair to point out that you don’t have to have had cancer personally to know that it’s a bad thing. And just because you’re white doesn’t mean that you can’t recognize racism as an evil to be eradicated. And just because you’re male doesn’t mean you won’t stand for women’s rights. And just because you’re old doesn’t mean you’re willing to trash the economy (to say nothing of the planet) that the young will inherit.

Tell me what you believe and how you’ll act and let’s just get past who you are.

Andrew Yang certainly demonstrated that he was a good sport after dropping out of the race for the Democratic nomination, but last night Elizabeth Warren set a new standard on Saturday Night Live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XezLiezWN0E

The problem with the cartoon is assuming that these groups want someone who looks like them. No, they want someone who works for them. Let the diversity be in the cabinet.
