Clean your glasses first, Earl, and then you’ll be able to find the “turny-on thing.”

We owned a vacuum once that hid the “turny on thingy” as part of the deck, complete with “tread” stripes that completely disguised it from both of us. First time I’ve ever had to read the manual to find the on/off switch. Other than that, it was a pretty decent little canister vac with a long enough power cord and an unfortunately small bag.

This morning, I walked into the kitchen barefoot and stepped on something. I don’t know what it was, but I used the cordless vacuum. Earl is wearing shoes, so that might not be the explanation here.

I used to enjoy using a Regina Electric Broom to suck up flies.

The new oven is a real charmer. Lots of buttons that only the wife seems to understand. I tried to use it once. Anyone like broiled brownies?

Back in the mid 1980s, we needed a new one. The guy at the store started to tell me about the different features. I looked at him and said "Don’t tell ME, tell HIM. I don’t plan on using it very often. " Brad is the one who vacuums 80% of the time.We have a good stick-vac I use for kitty litter and to run around for a quick job, but Brad uses the big, heavy one.

Now I am positive Brian crane has hacked into my house. Those stories are too close to my life, including the language.

What worries me is WHY does he need to use the vacuum? There was some sort of accident he wants to suck up so Opal won’t see it….Hmmmmm

she’s always harping on him to help out. When he helps out she harps on him. sounds just like a normal relationship really.

Back in the 90’s, my carpal tunnel was so bad that Hubby took over the vacuuming. On the advice of Erma Bombeck (remember the bit about not ever taking responsibility for the barbeque?), I never took that job back.

I remember once in my job as a PC tech, getting the first of a new PC case design. Even when I went and got another guy to help me, it took us way too long to figure out how to open the ⛈⚡☠️⚠️⁉️ thing…

“Let me introduce you to my friend, Kirby…”

Actually, I solved the vacuum cleaner problem many, many years ago. Ever since I lived in Arizona, I’ve taken up all the carpets and put down either tile or bamboo flooring in all the houses I’ve owned. Much cooler, easier to keep clean, more attractive, sanitary, and odorless.

The “throw rugs” we have, are easily shaken out and can be washed.
