Fun is what you have when everything is mellow. Mellow teenagers are as scarce as frog hair or empathy in this era’s White House.

At least she doesn’t play softball – “Spring break? We have a softball tournament that week” (the same goes for baseball – it’s pretty much the only time teams can compete against each other outside of their leagues before the postseason)

I grew up in a middle income home (way before credit cards) and we never had a spring break trip. We roller skated and rode our bikes and just enjoyed being out of school for a week!

Will today’s strip stay to form of events with that virus. Our schools had spring break, then Governor canceled school and changed to online, meaning children had another week off while Administrative scrambled with teacher for online classes, includes packets for kids lives outside school districts in rural farm land.

Spring break in our house meant free camping and trout fishing trips to the nearby national forest whether we wanted to go, or not.

My last Spring Break before retirement will begin at the end of this week. 12-hour days tele-schooling is not how I expected to spend my final months teaching.

Well, by that definition, about half of the country is now “having fun.”

Where is it written that spring break has to involve world travel? Or anything else of the kind?

Perhaps it would help to use /s at the beginning and end of such comments.

Of course it helps if you know the symbols.

    Learned something new today.

People, most of the “hater” comments are just dry sarcasm. They don’t actually mean they want the old to die, it is sarcasm and a way to get attention and solicit replies.
