It’s sad how some people can hear but not listen.

I hit my 40s, my body wasn’t working quite as well as it used to, and I realized that I wasn’t going to “save the world” or accomplish great things. I spent my 40s like Norm, trying to deal with the end of my dreams. When I hit my 50s I realized “I’m not dead yet!” I got back into shape, and had a great decade with renewed purpose. Too soon to judge the 60’s; but losing my job shortly into them is not a good start.
