Just love how this reflects the same media attitude when it was HRC vs. Trump. It was non-stop from the 2016 GOP primaries to election day that HRC was going to win and underestimating working class White, Black, Brown America. Here we go again in 2020. Already looking forward to the SNL skits.
The nay-sayers claim that running Sanders would not only give the election to the Orange Pustule, but push Democrats in the midwest out of contention in the House and Senate. The optimists think that Bernie will pull in so many “discouraged voters” that it will go the other way. The DNC is in the “nay sayer” camp. We saw how well they did with HRC, didn’t we…
Bernie scares me. Although I like much of his message, and all of his enthusiasm, this country has been yanked so hard to the right that it has created massive polarization. If we try to yank that hard to the left, it will not heal anything, and may make the idea of a right-wing armed revolution more likely. I think we need someone to yank the country to the center so we can get a chance to find consensus before moving that far left.
One other consideration: Bernie’s pretty old, and has had a recent heart attack. Should he win the nomination, we need to pay close attention to the person he chooses for a running mate.

In the national polls tiny is still losing to Bernie – I think any breathing Democrat can beat Trump this time.
