Trump, Mr. anti-science, continues his mission to gut the federal system of competent people and replacing them with incompetent boot lickers. His answer to the coronavirus will be to quarantine the US and make China pay for it.

Get out the sharpie and show how the virus really isn’t spreading. We want the stock market looking strong.

Trump’s 2021 budget proposal would cut Health and Human Services funding by 10%, cut CDC funding by 16%, cut U.S. funding to the World Health Organization by more than half and would cut $3 billion from the U.S. government’s global health programs. These cuts are on top of the cuts he made in previous years.

He had cut more department budgets for health care emergency providers, prevention programs and public education, and federally funded research Departments in order to grift more $$$$$$$$ for his ego wall. That fer’kaka’ wall is not going to stop this virus (or the one in Brazil which could end up being much worse). If he really is as much of a fanatical germaphobe as he says he is…he should be quivering in his golf shoes. This is one thing that the Secret Service cannot protect against. If there’s something the Feds could be doing well, the Pee-resident will do what he can to stop it. If there’s something that they can do badly (“the wall”) he’ll push for it to happen. The one certainty: He won’t do anything that Putin wouldn’t like.

Just a thought. The coronavirus spreads. By October it reaches a good number of the population. Trumps cancels the election for “public health” reasons. “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.”
