Aliens killed the dinosaurs them seeded the world so humans could evolve.

When I was Gil’s age, I was an avid “In Search Of…” fan. But at least that show was preceded by a voice-over disclaimer, that Nimoy was presenting theories and conjecture, and not (necessarily) facts. There’s no pretense of such ‘responsible’ presentation, in most of today’s shows.

Seriously, Gil’s mother. He’s 8 years old. It’s time for him to learn reality. Get stomping.

They also say that the nazca lines are a landing strip, because when you have the technology to travel through solar systems/galaxies, you need a landing strip to slow down on landings and speed up on take offs.

I can relate, I was in to a lot of that kind of stuff when I was a kid, too. Really like the way Norm wrote this one. Good insight.

There are enough genuine wonders without inventing bogus ones.

I think Gil’s mom should not have stomped on the sense of wonder. She should start slow, if he still believes in the Easter Bunny sit down and show him/teach him it is not real, just a fantasy. One at a time stomp out the fantasy to present reality. But don’t stomp on the Sense of Wonder. Gil loses everything then.

Gugs built the Henges. Except the wooden one, that one humans did in imitation. Read “Dream Quest of Kaddath”. One day they will return.

Teach them the wonders of the real world and they don’t need aliens, Bigfoot, or even conspiracy theories to have a sense of wonder. Those things are just crutches for a dull mind.

Ancient Aliens (TV Show) never say these are facts.. The narrator always says, “….Ancient Alien THEORISTS say…..” Theory, being the operative word. I love that show, even though some episodes are a little too far-reaching. I guess they are running out of material. LOL.

‘Sense of wonder’, as is I wonder what happened to good sense?
