I almost feel sorry for the fishes … almost! :P

As long as Henry…….or I don’t have to eat them. I’d add the brussels sprouts. BLECHY!!!

Henry, shame on you! You don’t have to eat them, you know. I love them, especially chilled in dill and vinegar.

The sprouts must go. You may not have to eat them, but if anybody on board is eating them, you’ll smell them.

I used to not like brussels sprouts, but if you put some oil and sea salt on them and roast at 400 until tender, they are delicious! Never thought I’d ever say that…

I’ll have to try that, lightenup. I have yet to find a way to make them taste good.

Save them for the rabbits.

I have a great recipe for Brussels Sprouts. Put them in a sauce pan with a dab of butter and saute’ them until they’re soft, then throw the whole mess in the trash and get something good to eat.

Brussels sprouts are good with a LOT of garlic butter. Cabbage, boiled with butter and pepper is also good.

“I do not like them with a trout. I do not like them in my snout I do not like them have no doubt, I do not like those brussels sprouts!”

some pancetta or bacon, brussels sprouts, dried cranberries, toss them in a pan touch of olive oil and serve… fabulous !

if you over cook them they become mushy and stinky…

Dip the brussel sprouts in bourbon. After a few, who cares? They’ll taste good. This works with any veg-a-table, except cucumbers. I’m allergic to cucumbers; they make me vomit almost immediately. My parents tried to trick me with pickles. The result ended up in a smelly mess on the floor in five minutes.

ahoy Crew! i, too liked brussels sprouts, but i haven’t had them in years. little brother refers to them as “the Devil’s golf balls” though.

I don’t care what you call it. It’s still cabbage & most useful as compost.
