I agree the punishment should be harsher. Take away Houston’s title. “Baseball” is about a pitcher trying to fool a batter and a batter trying to figure out how to hit a pitched ball. Once the batter knows what’s coming—as a certainty—you’re no longer playing “baseball” and the “winner” should be disqualified.
Maybe not a good idea to bring up how cheaters don’t get punished just barely a week after your “team” cheating their way through a trial meant to hold a president accountable for trying to cheat his way through an election, after he and his CoS confessed that he cheated, after warning he would cheat in a TV interview, after cheating the prior election.
But then, I guess one can’t be a proper chud these days without wallowing in hyprocrisy.
Cheating in baseball has gone on since its inception. It evolves with technology. When I played it was called “getting a leg up” on the competition. This happens in sport and business. If it is against the rules they should suffer the consequences. If there is nothing in the rule book play on.
Think of any punishments you would like to see imposed on every Astro involved in this scandal, owner/manager-staff/players, and hit them with the list. Take away their Series trophy & money, and I would be very surprised if the Cantaloupe Commissioner does not issue a pardon after the ‘20 season ends and the November election is over, ranting and raving about how “lot’s of people are saying this punishment is unfair and way too extreme” — if he’s still the president then. Because if tRump is reelected president the first week in November, by the time Opening Day in 2024 rolls around, a 2020 Astro pardon will be a minor item not worth including on the list of disaster’s confronting America.

Instructions on what subject to cover today on come down from on high to the chosen cartoonists. Aren’t they obedient?

That was hard enough to be a slap. Hank Aaron was right – They all should have been banned and their championships revoked.

I wouldn’t want to be an Astros batter this year, except maybe putting on 2 helmets and one of those flak jackets quarterbacks wear.

Lester now believes cheating is a bad thing?
Or just another Trump Disciple cartoon to avoid Barr’s sabotaging the justice system?
