Anybody remember the Ray Milland-Paul Ford film “It Happens Every Spring”? That pitcher had a helluva curve ball, or was it speedy and curved?

Talk about unexpected pitches… Won’t be watching the Cubs anymore as they went to cable… Now that was a real curve-ball… one that hit the fans…!

saw on tv yesterday that pitcher, Trevor Bauer, is letting the runner know what pitch he is throwing to the batter, and he still pitched 3 good innings during Spring training amd in a game a couple days ago 7 Houston batters were beaned. hope this makes teams win the right way.

There’s a road in Illinois called “Elizabeth Road.” It’s windy and hilly. At one place, the crew mounted the sign at 45 degrees so it’s square instead of diamond and the squiggle on the sign describes perfectly what the road does!
