Be careful not to say things like that around Lord Greystoke.

Gee golly, that name Clark Kent seems to sound awfully British…. BTW Henry Cavill will be excellent.

NEBULOUS When I was a pre-teen, I learned about truth, justice, and the jungle code of life from Edgar Rice Burroughs. Didn’t he kill himself because he couldn’t take the loss of his mother. But back to Lord Greystoke, the man who lived for years in the jungle with a beautiful girl and never touched her. Er, what’s wrong with this picture?

Eh, I think they got it wrong, really. It’s the French that are wimpy. Try going to the wrong pub or neighborhood wearing the wrong football jersey… say like wearing Man United in Liverpool… or wearing Everton’s. Not a joyous event.

    Lewreader:

You know how you breed mules? You raise a male donkey with horses, and it’s attracted to mares, not female donkeys.

John Clayton was reportedly raised from late infancy to mid-teens by “Great Apes”. He finds Jane intellectually stimulating, nothing more.

British “wimpiness” is what makes it PERFECT for a Brit to play Superman. A mild-mannered, tea-sipping secret identity, but when the (fish ‘n’) chips are down they can deliver the smack as well as anybody. They held back the Wehrmacht pretty much single-handedly while we Americans sat around with our collective thumb up our collective butt.

    Agincourt! Waterloo! The Falklands!

And two words which should forever put to rest these scurrilous accusations of British wimpiness:

    Simon Cowell.
