Creativity is the process of producing content. The fact that creativity can be used to draw eyeballs to advertising is the last remaining function of creativity. The irony is that by any rational definition of “content” it is the advertising which is the content.

There’s a documentary on Amazon or Netflix right now called “Cats the Mewvie.” It’s about famous internet cats – like the late Grumpy and dozens of others – and how their people monetized their videos and photos to the tune of $1000s PER post. Bet Jimmy saw it and is wondering – like we are – why our cats never managed to be cute or clever enough for this…. Really missed the boat.
