    Not sure if it’s so much a kleptocracy as a kakistocracy. Though, if the discussion actually gets to this point, we’re already in deep poo.

    Bernie Won’t Adapt – {4 beats/line}

    Weak-kneed pussycats cringe and “adapt”

    when money-backed pols on us People have cr*pped, -

    - but Progressives like Bernie instead are apt

    to have the Plutocrats’ bank-accounts tapped

    to pay their fair share // for the wear-and-tear

    which their profit-fixation // has cost our nation.

    “Some Crazy ‘-Cracy’ Terms”

    Even with grim effort of flunkies like Barr,

    We are not the greatest Kleptocracy by far.

    Foreign despots have ruled thus from ages ago.

    The U.S. still has therefore a long way to go.

    .

    A blend of “-cracy’s” is what our country’s become;

    Those who think else-wise are either foolish or numb.

    A smorgasbord of weird word foods here is thus served,

    But by no means all that can be widely observed.

    .

    Ostrichocracy and Sheepocracy are in a class

    With Lemmingcracy and Asinocracy (by a—).

    Webocracy and Foxocracy — not by spiders and foxes —

    Unless you put bloggers and pundits in similar boxes.

    .

    Mediaocracy is a term with sort of two meanings,

    Theocracy and Evangelocracy have similar leanings.

    Poor Democracy gets hardly any respect at-all,

    From philosophers going back to Aristo-tle.

    .

    I see this theme is more than one short rhyme can spew,

    So it’s now cut short, further lines I eschew —

    Except: Demonocracy is what we’ll have in this nation

    If the Pandemonium White House is an indication.

    The 0.1% do not care what it is called as long as it does not affect anything they want or need to be done for them.

    Vicious anti-Constitution Republicans have become stupid lying thieves who are ramping up all the earth destroying programs the people took 50 years to create. They are selling our public lands and elections to foreigners, they have turned their backs on the promise of America.

    Speaking of kleptocracy and sand, the world’s beaches are becoming seriously depleted of sand as it is taken away for industrial use.

    Thorn in our Flesh – {limerick}

    While Donald toots his own horn,

    we cringe: – in our flesh he’s a thorn.

    He’s an object of scorn.

    We’re hopeless, forlorn.

    He’s a burden we’ve reluctantly borne.

    Of patience with Trump, quite out we’ve been worn,

    so Let’s give him back to the queens of porn.
