We will see Tia Carmen tomorrow, where she should be remorseful and apologizing for her tactless remark about this wonderful man who takes such good care of his children—AND OF HER!!!

This made me cry … today would have been my late husband’s birthday. He’s been gone 6 1/2 years.

This is only Tuesday, so I know Carmen’s got a rebuttal. Her generation always does (she reminds me so much of my grandma, an old school French woman, may she rest in peace). Takes a LOT to accept. Maybe not agree, but accept. Can’t speak for the old school Latinas though.

My first husband died very, very, young of a heart attack….my kids were only 9 and 11 at the time. This was 28 years ago and I have remarried and rebuilt my life. I still think of him every day and, having told my second husband stories about him, we talk about him a lot…. but not memories…rather things like, “What would X say about these 80” TVs? Would X have a huge SUV like this one?" Bravo, Sergio. Rosa will always be a special presence and comfort in your heart, but time to rebuild your life. Rosa would have wanted that.

My father was married 61 years before my mother passed away and he never wore his wedding ring when she was alive.

Time to dig out those nursing home brochures and leave them around for Tia Carmen so Sergio can get on with his life! She better shape up ad shut up!

Perhaps the reason that Tia Carmen’s nose is drawn so small is that the rest of it is always in other people’s business. Not just now but with her gossiping sessions at bingo or on the park bench, she has nose problems.
