If you are in the dark, today’s Plugger says: You’re a plugger if you remember sniffing the paper (YEAH) on a school test before you even wrote your name.

I got this! “You’re a plugger if you wander out on a cloudy night with no moon or stars out during a blackout, and forgot to bring any light source”.

I remember making those tests on the Mimeograph machine.

This is getting to be as bad as Comics Kingdom that is down again today as it is frequently.

Looks like the loss of Reed Hoover has finally impacted this strip.

If this happens again, I’ll just drop Pluggers.

Ditto Machines!

My mom was a teacher back in the early-mid 60’s and I used to help her before and after school by making ditto copies (or mimeograph copies/whatever). I loved the smell. :o)

You’re a Plugger if you know the difference between a mimeograph and a ditto machine (spirit duplicator). Personally, I prefer the smell of a mimeo.

Pluggers have superior eyesights in the darkness. They don’t need no strenkin’ torches.

My first job with the Federal Government was as a Miscellaneous Duplicating Equipment Operator GS-2. 1951. Pay $2450 per annum. Yes, among other equipment, I had to use Ditto and Mimeograph machines. Good job and good pay for an eighteen year old then.

Kids are really missing out! I loved that smell!
