I am afraid the bold Z in the first panel seems superfluous for Garfield.

Jeez Jon, you’ve gotta know by now, that cats need their 23hr beauty sleep, it’s no wonder why Garfield’s cranky.

I don’t get why Garfield’s bed is so small and looks uncomfortable, he can’t stretch out. Seems such a spoiled cat would have a huge bed and a lot more comfortable than a box.

When I come back, I will be a well-loved indoor kitty … eat, sleep and occasionally do something that my guardian will think is adorable – have to do a little to to maintain the status quo! :-)
