I think that the last panel would be far more realistic if Trump was standing in front of a mirror, still smirking, mumbling under his breath his breath, something like “you devil you”, and attempting to shake his own hand!
Why is this bad? It just excludes the “Palestinians” who are either going to reject the deal or violate the deal. Just like they’ve done since 1948.
There will come a point when a combination of circumstances and the correct leadership will trigger the long overdue destruction of the “Palestinian” territories and any hope the Arabs will ever have of a sovereign state.
The US and Israel must continue to make real offers with the opportunity for realistic goals. This despite the knowledge that these offers will be rejected. The limp wrist Western world demands that we treat with rabid animals as if they were rational human beings.
But eventually, likely sooner than later, the Arabs will commit an atrocity so grave that it cannot be ignored. So serious that Israel will finally decide to root out the terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank once and for all. It will be abrupt and brutal, and the world will condemn it, but it will put an end to the local terrorism problems.
