All the things they said they’d be really upset about in June, they’ve just dismissed while looking hard in the opposite direction.

A pretty good caricature of Mitch except the expression on his face is drawn much more pleasant than it is in real life. The sneer that Trump has when he tries to smile is like that of McConnell as well.

Most decent Republicans left the party and some are even trying to create a new direction, but McConnell, Cruze, and Graham are NOT part of that cohort and instead feed the division of the American electorate to benefit themselves and their wealthy supporters.

As usual, fools like r o h will giggle while America is being destroyed by their cult leaders (including the Russian puppet-master). Drink the koolaid, r o h, laugh while real Americans are dying through the destruction of our country’s economy and our rule of law. Perhaps, just perhaps that koolaid will end up giving you a bellyache.

Maybe, some justice will survive.

Calling it a “coup” is an admission that you think Trump is a “KING”.

@Rule of Honor: Ironic handle you gave yourself. And no, this wasn’t a “coup” – unless you listen to nothing but FoxNews and the criminal on trial, of course.

The evidence has been out there all along – technically, you don’t even need witnesses with the evidence out there already, but the GOP has committed itself to covering up. This isn’t “politics as usual,” this is an existential threat to this nation, where a president who has not only acted corruptly but has compromised our international relationships AND national security on behalf of a hostile nation (technically, that nation’s leader, who has funded the president), and is inviting them to interfere with OUR elections AGAIN, with the willing support of the Republican Party, as long as they get elected. If you don’t see a problem with that, then you are no American.

Given Mitch’es past this was absolutely expected.

Lying Republicans are as crooked as the day is long, they really get off on making a mockery of the law and the Constitution.

Apparently, the Republicans now see the Constitution as a joke and ignoring it to be a game. Dick Cheney described the Constitution as something “to be got around”. I had hoped that was an aberration. Ironic how so many Republicans pretend to be patriots but are fine with games like the GOP Senate just pulled.

Anyone who’s glad Trump got acquitted has no right to christen him/herself “Rule of Honor.”
