I can’t watch an arm wrestling match anymore after seeing one a long time ago on Wild World of Sports and one of the arms snapped with a microphone right at their elbows. I can still hear that sound.

Were the octopuses already dead? If they were dead, were they just killed for this entertainment? If they weren’t dead, did they survive this entertainment of watching a creature suffering agony?

That’s like when Lawrence Taylor tackled Joe Thiesman in an NFL game and broke both bones in his lower leg. It was a compound fracture- you could see both bones coming out of his leg! My wife (an RN) had to turn away or get sick. They kept on showing it!
