He’s impeached. He will not be convicted. His partisans will see it as total vindication. His opponents will see it as completely without merit and no proof of anything. That’s where we are already.

And bear in mind: He already admitted to doing it. On live TV so Bolton has nothing to tell us that we don’t already know.

The actual puzzle for the Democrats is how to get the republicans to admit that what they know is true is really true.

Corrected speech balloon: “Good news. I found one missing piece.” Lisa, get the facts straight for once, please.

TC2 REALLY needs Vlad to update his Russian/English translation program, and get him one that can actually spell, AND put together a coherent sentence, rather then that gibberish that he’s currently spouting!

What a pathetic show of desperation the GOP has shown! Blatantly LYING and making up rules and situations as they go along…because they GOT NOTHING ELSE! DUH!

Schiff regarding Bolton to Rachel Madcow in 2018:“This is someone who’s likely to exaggerate the dangerous impulses of the president toward belligerence, his proclivity to act without thinking, and his love of conspiracy theories.”

Schiff in a separate interview also said Bolton had a distinct “lack of credibility” and was prone to “conspiracy theories.”

This week, Schiff said Bolton needed to testify in the trial as an important and believable witness.

I think Schiffty and Bomb ’em Bolton share some common character flaws.

Mitch has applied major “quid pro quo” on each senator.. which is kind of ironic considering what brought this impeachment on in the first place.

The day that the Senate votes to acquit President Trump and ignore all of his illegal/immoral acts because they were conducted while he was running for re-election and, thus, A-OK, will be known as the constitutional Day of Infamy. Alan Dershowitz should be hanging his head in shame and embarrassment for proposing this outlandish theory granting a president unchecked powers.

For once the peanut gallery has it right. It’s a totally partisan impeachment going nowhere. As Dershowitz concluded, even if all accusations are verifiable—and they are, so what?—Trump did nothing that warrants removal from office.

They have ALL the pieces (and then some), but the republicans in the Senate will not allow them to be used.

Getting the FULL picture of Trump’s wrongdoing would be a historian’s life’s work, a la Robert Caro:

There has been so much obfuscation of the Donald’s dirty dealings that, when the history of his presidency is written, the Republican party may never recover. They should cut their losses and nominate Pence to demonstrate a semblance of morality.

The missing piece is four Republicans with consciences. Or consciousness.

Turning followers of criminals into witnesses against their colleagues in crime is a tried and true method of incarcerating the worse gutter rats of the criminal world. Even among the worst of the Republican Crime Cartel, the White House Toad, the Wannabe 1st Russian Citizen Mitch, and Lindsey Soggy Grahamcracker oozing from the slimy homes of the Republican habitat, THE SWAMP, there has to be someone among them who’s had enough.

Let’s say I have 499 pieces of a 500 piece puzzle—I bet I can tell what the picture is. If I have 498, 497, 496….. Yes, At some point I won’t be able to tell—if I have just two or three pieces. I would say that we have more than enough now to see the picture.
