When I was young, we used Vaseline to help break in our gloves.

How do you get oil from a neat?

I enjoy taking care of my equipment. Tennis racket. Golf clubs. Mountain bike. Rifles. Pistols. Swords. Bayonets. Rocket launcher.

You just hate anything where YOU have to actuslly do something and aren’t able to con folks out of their money by giving them bad advice. Besides, you can’t catch the ball even if you’re glove wasn’t stiff.

Then don’t play sports

Rerun would oil his glove before Lucy would.

How neat it is to wear your glove on your feet in the winter…

I played ice hockey. Outfielder’s gloves are nothing compared to a goalie’s kit. OT: The worst smelling sports gear are goalie gloves, no matter if it’s ice hockey or football (soccer)

I over oiled my glove and it was so floppy I couldn’t use it.

I remember another strip with the final panel something like ‘He said something about how neat it was walking around with gloves on your feet in the winter.’

Especially when you have to use oil from the foot of some animal you’ve never heard of.
