Roboto thinks he’s debonair. A host of style and taste

Mysta bides her time. So wise. She shall not act in haste.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the giant snails are extinct in Moon Valley since it lost its atmosphere. That specimen from the zoo could have been one of the few still living.

Fonzie has jumped the Escargot!

Mr. Roboto is quoting song lyrics again. “Beautiful Stranger” was recorded for the soundtrack of the film, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999) by Madonna, who also co-wrote and co-produced the song. It was chosen as a single to promote the film since it was judged to fit in well with the 1960s setting of the movie.

Roboto thinks he’s going to woo her with one of her “ethnic” dishes – but it won’t work. It’s tough to expect warm feelings from someone who is bound and held hostage by a bizarrely masked robber and criminal – but Roboto’s smitten and not thinking clearly…

I seriously doubt Mysta has ever eaten giant escargot, and Roboto should know that. Besides, doesn’t this go against his fantasy that she’s Futura? Why would False Maria like giant snails from the moon?

How’s she going to eat with her hands tied up, wiseguy? And after that, how’s she going to… Oh just forget about it.

Well he’s either going to have to soon feed her, or untie her, and that would be his biggest mistake….

I thought he was spoofing When You’re In Love With A Beautiful Woman by Dr. Hook.

So his robot woman needs to eat? That makes no sense either!

A captive dinner companion and musical entertainment??? Gee, just what a girl would want!!!

As much as it shows Roboto is slowly loosing his grip on his trolley, panel 5 is a delightful portrayal of Mysta. It’s nice to see her dressed in more than the miniskirt/low cut blouse of the Gouildian era.

I wonder if his mask includes electronic voice modification. He looks like his speech should be measured and precise, but when you see him with his bowtie, it seems he should talk like Henry Aldrich.

If the escargot were at the zoo, they were live (and probably rare) specimens who have now been destroyed.

That doesn’t look like Mysta at all.

Robo didn’t do his research, obviously he doesn’t know his GF is vegan. BTW, thanks for the song lyrics Nil. Can you play melancholy baby?

I do not know if Mysta had already tasted that Moon Valley delicacy but I think she is about to shout GO ESCARGOT AWAY :)

Once again, seven days later, it looks like we picked up exactly where we left off last week. This story is progressing at the rate of escargot!

With giant escargot on the menu, dinner will proceed at a snail’s pace.

I hope he brought along plenty of hot melted butter with garlic! How else to enjoy escargot, giant or not?

Now, in accord wit his own twisted logic, Roboto must either uncuff Mysta so she can feed herself, or get dangerously close and try to feed her as though she were a little baby. Either way, there is a good chance Mysta will get a chance to get loose and zap the delusional freak. But that would not leave much for Tracy to do if and when he shows up except to book him. So, maybe she won’t escape just yet….

What I’m wondering is where he got his information on Moon Maid ( her power to “zap” him and eating giant escargo, etc. ) ?He seems to know quite a bit about Moon Maid… In the 4th. panel, he said that he stole it from the zoo…

And if he’s calling her “Futura” he should know that robots don’t eat…

I looked up “Metropolis” and “False Maria” doesn’t eat either being based on “Futura” and food is not a part of the plot…

Yesterday’s comic had Vitamin fretting over Mysta’s absence. Don’t all plays have understudies who take over in the event of unexpected circumstances?

What Mysta wants now are those razor-sharp nails the escargot hunters had on the Moon.And another correspondent was rigt about life on the moon.There were NO ANIMAL LIFEOF ANY KIND.No household pets,no birds,no nothing!!Maybe all the gold strip mining killed them off

The musical notes in the top right panel suggest Roboto isn’t just reciting or singing this song, but is playing it in the background somewhere. The last time I provided html for Madonna’s Beautiful Stranger, it was to the original video. But I think here Roboto is just playing the song itself, so here it is:
