So what if Bernie did say that? He’s not saying a woman SHOULDN’T be President. He’s probably just looking at the harsh reality of living in a country where a misogynist who sexually assaults women and pays off porn stars can be president*
If America isn’t progressive enough to refuse to tolerate that, there’s a strong possibility that America isn’t progressive enough to accept a woman as President.
Nevertheless, either Sanders or Warren would be infinitely better and more qualified to be President than our current demented, criminal, fraud, traitor.
The Republican opponent is the champion of a large homophobic, xenophobic, misogynistic band of Luddites, They will turn out in greater force to vote against Warren than they would to vote against an old white guy. Not saying it is right, just thinking it is real.
As Bernie, among others have stated, Hillary already beat Bonespurs in the popular vote by over three million votes. Manipulating the outdated electoral college was smart for Bonespurs folks, but incredibly stupid of those who voted for him.
I don’t agree with Bernie Sanders politically, but I respect him and I believe he has personal integrity. Warren is your garden variety political opportunist, bought and paid for by corporate interests, sorry if I was a bit redundant there. Lester is absolutely right that she would make up anything to get a leg up in the polls.
