I’ve always wondered if labs even need to be trained to fetch. I’ve had to teach our non-retriever dogs how to fetch, but the labs I had pretty much had it down instinctively. You toss something, they run to it to see what it is and come back to you with it.
Of course, the trick is to teach a lab how to fetch indoors.

O Henry…this time you had a clinker in your thinker. Bad choice indeed! :-)

Since when does a lab let a Frisbee land before he/she grabs it?

Sniff where the scent is not. That’s where the scentless frisbee will be found.

I stopped throwing balls, frisbees etc. for my dogs when I realised I was getting more exercise than they were! Fetch is an alien concept to them.

The intention was good. But, yeah … a colored Frisbee might’ve been a smarter bet during winter. You win some; you lose some, I suppose.
Happy Sunday, Crew.

There should have been a spot showing where it went into the snow. Or Louie’s just having fun.

i am sure there is a lab out there somewhere that doesn’t even know what a frisbee is.
