I used to work overnights on the weekends (putting the kids loan-free through college). It’s a lovely, quiet time and when you were needed, you were actually NEEDED. I miss it, but I’m too old to keep up with it.
In the process of moving, the new garbage collectors start at 6 am. I said, “Slackers! They start at 5 am at my old place.”
