At least the robot can’t get lung cancer. How about designing duplicates of that robot since it has fingers and programming it to do something really useful which would be shaving and cutting hair?

The eyes disappear as they grow?

Take care and may God bless.

According to Wikipedia, Elektro could also blow up balloons and distinguish between red and green. He had a 700 word vocabulary using a 78-RPM record player.

Local supermarket robot here actually does something useful like checking the floors for spills, usually in the produce dept.

Lady with rambunctious child was chatting on phone: “That thing seems to be following me around”.

Electro is one of two claims to fame of my hometown of Mansfield, Ohio where he was made. You can see him today at our Mansfield Museum. The other claim is the Shawshank Prison.

So that’s where SNL got the idea for a weed-smoking robot.

I remember reading about Elektro in 4th grade. He had a robot dog companion that met his fate running into traffic. :(
