If you burn a candle. You will get liquid wax/paraffin running down the candle. If the good senator is “burning the scandal on both ends”, what would be the end product dripping off the “scandal”?

I miss Bill Clinton. Those were the most wonderful scandal years.

At least they don’t refer to it as a …gate! I am always disgusted when the media attach the -gate suffix to a scandal when there is nothing related to a gate or to the Watergate Hotel. It’s like every scandal after Teapot Dome [a real place] would have been called “…dome.”

The senator seems to have podium addiction problem. For he can’t seem to shake from being behind a podium and babbling. So he must be addicted to it I would guess.
