Calvin should have duplicated Susie if he wanted someone to clean his room and do his homework.

Judging by the final panel of the previous strip, shouldn’t the duplicate see himself as the real Calvin and Calvin as the dupe?

and from what environment, Calvin, how did your duplicate learn to be a total jerk?

It is interesting that other people can see our faults a lot easier than we can.

In college,I was involved in a play entitled “Adam, The Creator” by a foreign author (Polish, IIRC) A fella destroys the world and God hands him the magic clay and sez “You think you can do better, YOU create a world!”

On his third try, he creates an alter ego, and learns he can;t stand himself.

Yeah, I thought of this recently. In a recent Spider-Man comic the Green Goblin, while in jail, had a clone of himself created to pin his former crimes on. But why would he think that a clone of himself (a villain) would be willing to take the rap for him?

Now who didn´t see this happening! Its very like the homework essay/time travel story.

it was the ‘ok dupe’ that did it. had they shared the load it would have been fine.
