The Baby even sleeps like a cat!

I’m sure Elvis would be gratified to be counted among the “authorities,” if he weren’t preoccupied.

Unless she’s face down in a puddle or something, I think I’d just leave her there and not risk waking her up! She’s wearing bright yellow and has Elvis on guard, no one will step on her…

(But then I’m not a parent and never intend to be. There may be Mom Rules I don’t know about.)

Awwwwww. She all worn out after all that activity. Thank goodness.

She’s had 30 seconds to recharge her batteries and if she gets woken up now, she’ll be running for another 2 hours. At least. Possibly even longer.

Hi BCN pals. Happier news. The Small Bear and I have brought home a five month old kitten from the cat rescue centre that she has decided is called Monty. He’s charging around just like the toddler. I tried uploading a picture but it doesn’t seem to have loaded. I think Sooty approves.

As long as the Baby doesn’t crash to sleep face first into her food bowl …

I guess Lupin doesn’t remember kitten zoomie sleep interruptions and since he’s the youngest, he hasn’t seen any other cat do them.

Where is Robin? I guess I’ll go ahead and say that the attempt of successfully putting Baby down for a nap is doomed.

With her dark hair, blue eyes (just imagine them today), and yellow onesie, the Baby looks a lot like her guard cat.

ZOOOOOOM suddenly become ZZZZZZZZZZZ.

When a friend was raising her babies she would put them down for a nap, then crank up the music, run the vacuum. Never had to tip toe around.

Ive never been happy with the term “put down” when referring to babies. It sounds too much like vets dealing with dogs who can’t be cured.

Just put Jack Daniel’s in it’s bottle. Heck, mom might even want to drink it herself and then breastfeed. That’s the way my mom did it.

We have a new grandson of the human variety as of 3am this morning :) Going up to meet him later. 1 granddaughter and 4 grandsons, we are blessed <3

Well, GoComics has done it again, insisting I am not LadyKat today. Hopefully the situation will be resolved by tomorrow.

I sincerely wish the Woman and Elvis luck in putting the Baby down for her nap.

Baby needs to curl up in a cot with a cat.

Leave it in situ. Put up caution tape.

Before you know it, she’ll share the 2AM cat zoomies around the apartment!

It’s physically impossible to leave The Baby where she lies without her getting propped up on all sides by the snoozing pussycat posse. Win/win!

Hey Orbsters, got a question – Do any of you know where I can find valid digital coupons for cat litter? I’ve been scouring the web and no success. I ended up getting charged a LOT more for a doctor’s visit than was expected and can’t get litter for my furbabies. I reached out to our local shelter and they’re down as well. Any suggestions would be a godsend.

At least when Jasper gets the zoomies and drops to sleep I don’t/can’t move him. Of course Jasper’s zoomies are much more destructive since he weighs in at 190lbs.

Sometimes it is better to let the zoomed out one lie where she is. Elvis will stand guard.

The most mysterious part from the cats’ perspective is that it would seem that for human kittens, some places are “no napping zones”. The baby needs to be moved to a “napping zone”? Isn’t everything a “napping zone”?

One wrong move and BOOM!!! Crying, maybe wailing, cranky baby.
