    He’s using a quill and ink bottle, and he’s a leftie. Means he didn’t write the note in the cartoon, because it would be hopelessly smeared the way he’s holding the pen. We (lefties) have to curl our hands and arms around so we can pull the pen ahead of the ink, not behind it. Or use a ballpoint.
