This is the great crime of the Republican Party. They have been refining their rhetoric, messaging and “what about” debate technique over the last 20 years to a degree that objective reality has become warped. At the same time, they have moved so far right that what was once considered the center they define (and the public and media swallow) as being “far left”.
What in God’s name can Ariail POSSIBLY mean with this nonsense? Is it a partially completed cartoon left over from Halloween? Is he off his meds, AGAIN? Is he channeling Salvador Dali? His “normalized impeachment” premise is flawed from the get-go; NO impeachment is normal nor could one be made even to SEEM normal. We all know the Capo-in-Chief has Lindsey Graham in HIS back pocket; does Graham have Ariail in HIS back pocket? If so, it’s like all those slick, sentimental, kitschy, lowbrow Russian nesting dolls of decreasing size and importance inside one another.
I would argue that the GOP “normalized” impeachment with their actions against Bill Clinton. They would eagerly have done the same against Obama, but he was actually a little to squeaky-clean to come up with anything against him.
