Starting on December 1 every year, newspapers in Iceland print a small picture on the front page, usually of the Yule Lads (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icelandic_Christmas_folklore#Yule_Lads), with a countdown until Christmas. They all got to zero today (i.e. today is Christmas). Even though I don’t celebrate Christmas myself, I’ve always thought that was wrong. Even though we open our presents on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day is still on Dec. 25.
Dude, he’s scared me consistently for years. I’m starting to realize it may not have been an asteroid or flood that killed the dinosaurs. It was squirrels. Lots and lots of squirrels. Dinos kept tripping over them.
