Sorry Marigold, but you’ve met your match. Nothing outshines the magical light of a well-set-up Christmas tree, especially to a child. I use to lie on the floor with the room light off and just watch the twinkling and flashing colors (and all the presents underneath of course!) ;-)

Just turn off the tree anyway, Phoebe. That way, Marigold out-sparkles the tree, and your parents save money on their electric bill ; a win-win.
