Only that I’m wondering if it’s 3:01 in the afternoon. I might have to look back at the World War flashbacks and see if there were any clocks in those comics.

In the fourth panel, there appears to be 2 hour hands. And this means……

I wonder how any of them are going to deal with Wally when he comes to? If he decides to lash out like Superman from ‘Kingdom Come’ there will be nothing and no one to talk him down. All the while he’s surrounded by people he’s not very happy with even when he’s not full psychotic meltdown mode. I do hope the annoying elephant goes first. Dittos can wipe laundry clean in a nanosecond! And theoretically wipe your corneas just as fast and lilly white!

I did find this……..there is a spiritual significance about 3am. In Quora it said 3am to 5am is considered a high spiritual time where spiritual activities are at a high point. God just told them to wake up and flee.

We now know for sure that this was not just isolated to the beach, all of Eden is involved.

Unless there is a Ditto miracle I guess this may be the last time we see Kirbee, Chick and Irving.

Second panel, heartrending framed shot of Kirby grabbing Chip but looking toward the sky. Looks like 3pm because they’re in their daytime clothing. Neathery knows how to take the plot past the credits, https://www.gocomics.com/endtown/2012/01/31 , so don’t leave the theater yet. One escape hole: The city council of Eden thought they were in a privileged spot as long as they stayed put in their underground city. Ravensclaw got the Cardoodle comic and goggles from another dimension. Eden may be able to ride out the inter-dimensional collapse…somehow.

I’m with Erwin Schwartz on this one. I predicted yesterday that we may be seeing the last of Kirbee and company – for a while, at least. I speculated that perhaps a Star Trek time travel sequence which, Alta future date, may allow Wally to save them.

But for now, it looks like curtains for them.

Chic touched that recorder before dropping it way earlier. Who’s to say that residual effect didn’t put him out of phase already, with the dittos and amulet. Hug Mom and jump.

There’s a slightly blurred quality to Kirbee and Chic. Something’s happening to them.

Assuming that they are stepping through a gateway to safety, we may still never see the three of them again or at least for quite some time. The current threat is the convergence of the multiverse in a cataclysmic way. So, it is safe to assume that a gateway at this point would lead to any of an infinite number of possible alternate universes. Finding the one they went to would be an almost impossible task.

The inner clock under the 12 is an old fashioned second hand. The time would read: 3:00:15.

I’m thinking that the alarm is set for 3:15, not 3:00. And the time (on it) is 3:01.

After reading comments about the alarm clock, I realize that many aren’t familiar with the old tech alarm clocks. At the top of the clock face there is a small dial with only one hand, that is where you set the alarm time, and that small dial is set at 3. There is no AM or PM so it will go off at the first 3 o’clock AM or PM after the alarm is set. At my age, (80) that is the only alarm I used for over half of my life. I realize many on this group has never seen or used a wind-up alarm clock.

For whom does the alarm ring?

    It rings for thee…

    and for me …

    and for an enormity

    of worlds without eternity
