The only issue Roz is forcing is the BooTube video of Joe’s homophobic rant along with the name of his company and videos of the customer trucks (names of the customers blurred out, of course). As a lagniappe, she will forward the video to the marketing directors of those companies.
Honestly, “resigned to the fact that life seems determined to kick him in the teeth” is NOT the reaction to the news I expected.
Also, John’s pose in the last panel is adorable, and there’s a nice bit of characterization continuity that it’s almost the exact look he had after having to admit to Alex that he had a son.
