A shame we ’re not a more religious nation as all major religions hold society responsible to care for the poor.

Re:religion. We are much more religious when compared to the Europeans and rate way below them when compared to outcomes for our population that are provided by the governments like education, health care, housing or nutrition. Religion does not automatically gurantee that a society will be more generous.

Shouldn’t this particular Grinch be orange rather than green?

Stop defaming the kind-hearted by comparison Grinch, and the Grinch is also smarter.

The average SNAP benefit comes out to about $1.45/person/meal. Nobody gettin’ wealthy on that. Or healthy. But let’s cut it and/or make it harder. Harder than a GeeOhPee heart.

The Grinch’s face doesn’t look orange enough. Though I have always thought of him as being a caricature of Republicanism. (I was already a grownup when the Grinch first hove into view.) The upside is that if this tale is meta-true, we can hope for some personal growth among the right wingnuts. The downside is that it’s probably not meta-true.

IF Trump shuts down the Govt on Dec 20, you can bet your bippy that Trump & the GOTP in Congress will place every bit of the blame on the House Democrats

This is one of those things that makes me crazed. WHAT possible outcome does this idiot expect? What does he expect to change or accomplish by making people scramble more for food? What an awful human. And for those of you lucky enough to not wonder where your next meal is coming from, please remember that it can happen to anyone. I’m fortunate that I am not in that position, but work with those who are. Some have 3 jobs and still have trouble putting food on the table, if they even HAVE a table. Shame on you entitled people.
