Wow, hard to believe it, but there are actual parents like that out there. I’ve seen them, they are no longer friends of mine. I’m afraid I might catch their stupidity.
If it was my house, my dad would just take the console, put it in a box and leave it in the closet and toss me in my room. You don’t disobey orders around the house. And if you put up a fuss and break things, you get kicked out the backyard for a few hours. Brattiness is not tolerated. And anyone who wants to put the “child abuse” accusation, please do so. I have true stories.
Actually, I’m not sure whether Andy made that suggestion so that Roger couldn’t watch football or so that Jason wouldn’t do something worse in his spare time.
