The humor here is inherent in how unlike #45 and Fred Rogers are, of course, but it gives me the willies nonetheless, given just how wide the gap is.
Rogers was an intelligent, gifted, thoughtful, and above all kind man who knew how to talk to children and adults with genuine integrity and sincerity and convince them through a television screen that they were good people who deserved to be loved. #45, on the other hand, is a vile egomaniac of limited intelligence, few gifts, proudly ignorant and sadistic excuse of a man, no longer able to communicate beyond catch phrases and self-glorification, who only cares about his children so far as they carry on HIS name and HIS business the way his ego demands.
I can’t speak for everyone on this side of the fence.. but most of us are laughing and think you (the trump) a dangerous fool. And, the sooner you are dethroned and exposed as the cheat you are.. the better.
