Bathtub Party Day. No, I’m not going to have a party in my bathtub! I’m not even going to take a bath in my bathtub (which is what it’s really about. I don’t do baths. I do showers.

National Sacher Torte Day. Okay, a torte is a unique kind of chocolate cake. And I will be having cake at work later today (but not a torte cake). We’re getting cake and cookies in the break room for our “Voucher Day”. People who worked on Thanksgiving and a couple other key days get a voucher to take an extra 15% off an entire transaction (on top of our regular 10% discount). I got my voucher yesterday. We normally only get 2 days to use them, but they added an extra week this year because this week isn’t a payday week. Anyway, I’m planning to use my voucher today to stock up on stuff I use a lot – stockpiling paper & cleaning products, cat food & cat litter and assorted grocery items. I save a bundle every year on voucher day. Especially if I buy some big item, like the year I bought a TV and the year I bought this computer. I’m not buying anything big this year, though.
