I have no idea what Obama’s thinking is about this list of candidates. Though I’m sure he’ll at least publicly support whoever becomes the nominee.
Saw an opinion piece (yesterday?) that suggested some of Biden’s inability to clearly articulate might be a well hidden stutter. Written by a guy who stutters. Interesting idea. Might even be true.
There is some coverage of an unnamed candidate who claims Obama made some less than supportive comments about Biden, but, there doesn’t appear that there was any attempt to get confirmation from the man himself.
It was picked up across the spectrum of media outlets. Why would any responsible editor allow this?
