Particularly horrific in that the former Navy SEAL in question, now inappropriately pardoned, was so vicious that HIS OWN TEAMMATES adjusted his gunsight to miss because they KNEW he would take shots at civilians. They testified at risk to themselves, and now are going to be demonized by #45’s obedient toadies to satisfy #45’s desire for killing brown people. And the ex-SEAL is now going on FoxNews and gloating. Of course.
The mob boss thrives on “recognition” and he always gives the wrong signals…he protects all his criminal friends, leaders and himself. Demented Nazi traits….
History will not be kind to this administration and those who supported it … basically out of irrational fear of inevitable demographic changes in the population.
Do you support the United States of America? MAYBE. Do you support the Weasel in the House despite all crimes, lies and malfeasance? ABSOLUTELY Y E S. Welcome to Weasel World and the Republican McMafia. May you realize all the power and money you desire.
The above article was written prior to the trial. I suggest you read it top to bottom with an open mind. It contains information from both sides that paints a picture that is not cut and dried in either direction. You can come away confirming your current opinion (in either direction) or not, but if you are honest you will see why he acquitted. For much the same reason so many murder cases go south for prosecutors.
There is too much conflicting evidence. Too many witnesses who subsequently admit they are not as certain as they initially claimed or were offering anecdotal “evidence”. When it came to putting it in front of his military peers, the evidence was not sufficient to convince them.
Is Gallagher a nut case as described by some? Or was this a pissing match about tactics and doctrine that got out of hand as described by others?
What IS clear is that he was acquitted of all but the least of the offenses, and that act (the photo) is one that was and is ignored almost universally (by the military) unless publicly noted by civilians. Sadly, soldiers have snapped “trophy” photos since the advent of hand held cameras and roll film. Cell phones make the practice easy and common among line troops in the field.

The flag on the stern should be three broad horizontal bands – white on top, the blue and red on the bottom, the Jolly Roger at the masthead.

Someone should write a mock musical about all of this, in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan — “H.B.S. Sinamore”?

What do our military chiefs and the Pentagon think about how our position and security in the world is crumbling? Do they even THINK about it?
