Not only that, they can fall from great heights and survive. Ants rule! (Literally, considering the total ant population way exceeds the total human population and even the total rat population….)

I don’t blame Garfield, it doesn’t seem very impressive at first glance, but perhaps if John told him that in comparison if Garfield was as strong as an ant, (with the guess that he weighs a lot more than your average housecat say ~20 or 30lbs.)he could easily lift the entire refrigerator (possibly with weight to spare).

And they do need more energy ants work like slaves litterally for the “Queen Ant”,just like like “Bees” do.When you have so much labor up your sleeve it is nothing but normal to indulge in those extra sweets as many more calories are simply needed just in order to survive.Those marvelous insects have been pre-programmed that way.Unlike some lucky Sleepy Feline who just keeps on eating Lasagnas and Delicious Pizzas just for the fun of it.If i didn’t know any better Garfield Cholesterol must be Sky High.If only the poor Child knew it lol I remember the TV episode in which Garfield is carried by ants do you it actually was pretty funny.“The Singing Ants”.Mr.Jim Davis is a Genious.Thank You Very Much for such a Funny Cat Cartoon.
