This car is too “late” to be saved.

Shoulda done that first, might have fixed everything.

My car’s dashboard clock resets itself from a satellite signal. What a great time to be alive!!

“Also, I got rid of the timing belt and gave it timing suspenders.”

Big deal….probably charged her 50.00 for changing the clock…

That will be $600 plus $300 for labor…

That will be $560

You could have told me that an hour ago if it was still July.

And how much extra for the clock setting? (Foreign car mechanics would definitely charge for it!)

Daylight SAVING.

Saw that one coming. I took ride the other day with Lyft and noticed the clock was still on daylight savings time. I should have told him his timing’s off, but not sure he had a sense of humor.

Sadly, there are some gullible people (male and female) that would fall for that and pay the service charge. Back in the 70s, one of the mechanic scams was replacing the “muffler bearing”. I am so glad my Dad taught me to work on my own car. I used to do my own work back in the day. Computerized cars have changed that. I still do some work on my old cars though.

And he only charged you $400 to adjust it.

That is a very precarious balancing act on the lift. Don’t think I’d want to be standing under it.
